A Wife Loved Like The Church

A Boy’s Room

Posted on: October 24, 2011

All the finishing touches have been added to Joseph’s room. His diapers are all stuffed, cloth wipes are ready, and we just got some new-to-us clothes. All we’re waiting on now is him. In the mean time, I thought I’d show you his adorably cute room.

In the bottom right corner, you can see Joseph’s carseat just chillin’. I’ve been debating on when to put it in the van. Seems a little weird to drive around with an empty carseat, but then again, I’m not know for being normal…

Despite how large those picture frames really are, they seem dwarfed by the size of the wall. Oh well. The frame from left to right :: 20 week ultrasound picture, “YOU ARE LOVED”, and Julia’s {quite successful} attempt at writing Joseph’s name.

Awwww…it’s so cute! Sort of makes me want to have another baby…. πŸ™‚

Looks great! I can imagine how excited you must be waiting for baby Joseph to arrive :).

Adorable! And I don’t think I ever told you I love the name Joseph!

We drove around with an empty carseat while waiting for Si! Never knew when he’d come and it was a new Chicco which we knew nothing about installing, so instead of risking the bumbling about at the hospital, Brannon just put it in like three weeks early! πŸ™‚

SOOO cute! I love the banner above Joseph’s bed πŸ™‚

Love it! Beautiful and simple. πŸ™‚

that looks so great! I bet you guys are so excited to have him arrive. πŸ™‚

What a great boy’s room! I love the art.

Because Archer was born at home we didn’t put the car seat in until the day before his 10 day check up. I can’t say it would have been much more planned if we’d had him at a birth center or hospital though. That being said I don’t think there is anything weird about driving around with an empty car seat. Every time ya’ll go somewhere you could pretend to load Joseph in, as a practice run : ) Eeeee Joseph!!

Precious and beautiful. And again, I love the name Joseph – so strong (in the Lord)!

Oh it looks just beautiful! You really have done such a great job decorating his room. I so like the colors you picked.
