Are You a Flirt?

When I met Jonathan, he was a big flirt. He’s just such an open, welcoming guy that flirting comes pretty naturally to him. Though, once we started dating, his flirting around ended and he just focused it on me.
I, on the other hand, should have had flirt lessons. Cause when it comes to flirting, I just don’t have the skills. Which is why this quote fits me perfectly ::
Over our six years of marriage, I’ve slowly learned how to flirt with Jonathan. I can say something flirtatious and not feel quite so incredibly awkward. Though, it does help knowing that he’s going to love me despite my random flirt gone bad. And truth be known, I’m really glad Jonathan loves me for my awkwardness. Makes me feel loved even deeper.
Are you a good flirt? Do you flirt with your spouse?

That is really cute! Since getting married, I’ve learned to flirt a little better too (with my husband of course). haha! But you like, I’m glad my husband loves my awkwardness!

Hmmm. I honestly never have thought about it! When I came to know Christ, I stopped being flirtatious, but I’m not sure I ever re-learned for my hubby. I always verbally praise him… but maybe I should look for more flirt opportunities with him! Thanks for the encouragement!

I used to flirt with my man a lot. But then I had kids and became…well…a mom. And all too often it’s hard for me to switch gears from being a mom, to being a wife. My husband has no problem whispering flirtatious comments in my ear when our kids are in the room. Sometimes I think he does it because he knows it makes me squirm a little and blush…because our kids are right there! He’ll look at me like he wants a response and I’ll say…”honey, we can’t discuss this in front of our children!” I think becoming a mom made me somewhat uptight in that regard. I mean, he has a point when he reminds me the girls aren’t even paying attention and they have no idea what’s being said anyway. I know I should flirt with him more often. 🙂

Don’t have a clue and could certainly use some tips! 😉

This story is really cute, what a guy! When I asked Chris, “Do I flirt with you?” He was quiet a minute and then said, “um sometimes, kind of.” Perhaps I need to work on my skills too because to be honest I can’t even think of ways/how to flirt. Guess it’s time to google. ; )
