Organizational Chart for Your Kitchen

Posted on: September 9, 2010

Organization and I go hand in hand. I love everything having its own place and everything being in its place. I naturally plan out pretty much everything, including our family meals. Needless to say, I was thrilled when Jonathan came home with this:

{And even more thrilled that our week isn’t so crazy busy that there are blanks on the board! Yippie!}

I don’t write everything up on the board, but list the more important things {shared meals, meetings, babysitting, etc}. We keep the board by our backdoor in the kitchen, so that everyone can see it and know exactly what’s going on for the day {and of course what to expect for dinner}. It’s so clean and sleek, I nearly sigh every time I see it. I’m kidding. Maybe.

How do you stay organized? Any helpful tips to pass along?

Ooo very organized! I LOVE this and would like to try it, where did the sleek board come from?

We got it from Kohl’s. I wasn’t there when Jon got it, so I don’t know if it was a new item or something they are pushing out the door. But it really is wonderful! 🙂

Very nice!!! I have something similar (though not nearly as big and nice) and it totally saves my life. Each week I put school and speech and what’s for dinner and anything else going on, it really helps me stay on top of things (not that I don’t still drop the ball sometimes).

I love your chart- very cool! I think I’m going to do a chart like that for Rebekah’s chores…
