We have been in our new house not quite three weeks and things are coming along quite nicely! We had all the trim and cabinets painted white along with having a few rooms as well. Here are some before and afters:

You know it’s my kitchen when beans are cooking on the stove and tortillas are rising in the Kitchen Aid!

i like how you finally admitted that the “School room” now doubles as a toy room as well. you kept saying “school room” and i walked in on sunday and saw all those toys and thought “my kids are gonna want to do school at your house!” πŸ™‚ looks very homey πŸ™‚

Since we have the long term goal of turning it into the school room, we just started calling it that. But as I look at it right now, you can’t even see the floor for all the toys and books. Thus, it’s the playroom/school room. πŸ˜‰

Looks wonderful, love the kitchen! Are you planning to homeschool the girls?

Yes, we are planning to homeschool them. I’ve actually been thinking about writing a post about it, so keep a look out!

I also loved the sheet wrapped around the crib- limits distractions?

Emily, I totally thought of you when I posted that picture! And for the sheet- yes to limit distractions. Works awesome! However, I hate the ugliness of a blue sheet wrapped around H’s crib, so yesterday I bought a cute flowery sheet for cheap at Wal-Mart. Much cuter and pleasing to the eye. πŸ˜‰

Wow! It is so spacious, and the house colors are so nice! The office looks great!!!

Impressive! If we ever buy a house, I’d like your advise on how to decorate! You did an amazing job, especially considering you have two lil’ ones!
